Memorable party ideas

What's happening at many private parties is a lack of creative ideas in the planning. It has been my experience as a professional for over 26yrs, is a unique idea or theme can make a event memorable. Let's start with children parties,,, what's with all these jumpers? You know what is happening? It screams Babysitter! Everybody uses them,, so what's gonna be so special? Booking a jumper for a birthday child under 5 is a waste. I usually suggest our Clown show with Merry-go-round,, how often do you think a Merry-go-round shows up in front of their house? Themes many times can be great, with Pirates of the Caribbean coming out, lets bake a cake in the shape of a treasure island with little bootie in each slice of cake, and guest come as their favorite pirate. We have a new item that fits into water themes bumper boats. Entertainers can be booked to fit each theme. Dinosaur are always popular theme's aswell, use the cake idea for the children to find little plastic dinosaurs in their slice. Here are some addl themes "Cars" or NASCAR, Thomas the Train, etc.

July 4th Block Celebrations

What a great opportunity for the family & community to have fun celebrating Independence! Over the years I have been involved in some very successful block parties using many of our carnival rides, party rentals. Would like to offer suggestions that you might consider for your upcoming event. A well organized block party can be a wonderful neighborhood event, supervised fireworks, sampling your friends legendary grilling, perhaps a mini parade, carnival midway games rides. Been to some block parties were even the past neighbors come back to hang with friends, parking lining up outside of the event area. I would suggest pulling a permit to block the street, allowing the children a safer celebrating experience. Pooling resources can make a really fun entertaining party.
